How to Build Habits That Actually Stick
Most habit attempts fail for the same reason: they're too big, too vague, and tied to motivation instead of a cue.
Anchor the new habit to something you already do. After coffee, drink a glass of water. After dinner, a ten minute walk. The anchor does the remembering for you.
Then shrink it until it feels almost too easy. Consistency compounds; intensity does not.
