Beyond the Scale: Better Ways to Measure Progress
Body weight fluctuates with hydration, sodium, hormones, training, and digestion. Reading it daily as a scorecard is a fast route to discouragement.
Track what you actually want: steady energy through the afternoon, sleeping through the night, strength going up, clothes fitting differently, fewer cravings.
The scale can still be one data point. It just shouldn't be the only one — or the one that decides how you feel about yourself.
